National Nestbox Week: Tips to Help Our Feathered Friends!
This National Nestbox Week (14-21 February), let’s do our bit to support the bird population! As gardens get tidier, natural nesting spots are disappearing but adding a simple nestbox can make all the difference.
Easy Ways to Get Involved:

✅ Pick the perfect spot – Place it in a sheltered area, facing north or east to avoid harsh weather.
✅ Keep it safe – Ensure it’s out of reach of predators and has a clear flightpath to the entrance.
✅ Annual clean-up – Clear out old nests and give your box a clean to welcome new birds.
✅ Support bird habitats – Provide fresh food, water, and plant shrubs like ivy and holly for extra shelter and food sources.
