Inclusive Employers

As a member of Inclusive Employers we have been able to take further steps in our journey to make Stowe a welcoming place to work for a diverse workforce:

• We have created our commitment statement to clearly share the ways we promise to make change
• We have updated our values to reflect our commitment to DEI
• We have amended some of our recruitment practices for example introducing blind cv screening
• We are putting more structure around our colleague groups to ensure everyone’s voice is heard

Our Diversity, Inclusion and Belonging colleague group, works alongside our People Team to introduce initiatives including:

• Flexible Bank Holidays- ensuring colleagues can celebrate holidays important to them
• Increased education and awareness through internal channels
• The collection of diversity data
• Partnership with Inclusive Employers
• Achieving Disability Confident Committed status

But we know we can, and will do more.

The group also help to:

• Provide a safe space for colleagues to share experiences and ideas
• Build a more diverse and inclusive workplace where everyone can thrive
• Raise concerns with leaders and support positive change
• Work with other networks to make Stowe a great place to work for all
