At Stowe, we’re here to help – each other, our clients, and our communities.

We’re a people-first firm, one where collaboration, wellbeing, and growth are at the heart of how we work. Our team-based structure, dynamic working model, and commitment to professional development mean you’ll always have the support, trust, and flexibility to thrive.

Our commitment to dynamic working means you’re trusted to flex when and where you work, and we have the support of trained mental health and wellbeing champions in each region for those days you need that extra support.

In 2022, this approach saw Stowe recognised as a Two Star Accredited place to work by Best Companies.

We’re here to help each other

Whatever you’re facing, you’re never alone at Stowe. We might be spread across the country, but you’re only ever a click or a call away from a helping hand.

We’re passionate about equality, fairness, and belonging – ensuring everyone can bring their authentic self to work. We want to not just welcome but embrace and champion diversity and inclusion, and our team will do everything to support you from when you first get in touch.

Our Diversity, Inclusion and Belonging (DIB) group partners with leaders and colleagues across the business to drive meaningful change, celebrate difference, and build an inclusive culture where everyone can thrive.

We’re here to help you find balance

There’s no one way to work at Stowe. Whether you’re a night owl, an early riser, or need to flex around family life, our dynamic working approach is designed to help you balance your career and your commitments.

There’s no one way to be part of our team. If you care about the same things we do, we’ll help you find a way of working that works for all of us.

Our Mental Health & Wellbeing group leads initiatives to challenge stigma, promote positive mental health, and create a culture of openness and support.

We’re proud to offer an enhanced benefits package that includes:

• Paid volunteering days
• Flexible bank holidays (to swap for days of cultural or religious significance)
• Support from Carers UK
• Paid wellness days

We’re here to help our communities

We want to support you and we want to support our clients, but we also want to do so much more.  We are developing our commitment to ensuring that with every action and decision we consider the impact we have on our communities and the wider planet. From office recycling and a huge reduction in printing and paper usage, to teams taking part in fundraising activities like the Tour de Law, we are committed to doing more and supporting you to do more too.

At the start of 2022 we joined the Legal Sustainability Alliance and are on our journey to measuring our footprint and developing a plan of action, led by our  Sustainable Stowe colleague group.

Our Stowe Giving Back colleague group launched our Stowe Giving Back project, a programme designed to help the local communities we live and work in.  We are proud to have supported more than 300 charities and not for profit organisations and donated more than £80,000
