A message from Rachel Roberts, UK Managing Director at Stowe Family Law
As we begin 2026, I want to take a moment to reflect on what has been an incredibly positive and important year for Stowe Family Law.
2025 was another year of strong growth and momentum for us. We welcomed 91 new colleagues to the business, supported the promotion of around 80 people, and began laying the foundations for some significant changes to how we work — all with a clear focus on building a sustainable, future-facing firm.
In November, I was proud to step into the role of UK Managing Director, a milestone that coincided with another exciting development for the business: partnering with Kee Solicitors. Kee is a highly respected Scottish family law practice, with offices in Glasgow and Aberdeen, and their values, expertise, and client-first approach closely align with our own. Bringing our teams together strengthens our ability to support families across the UK with specialist advice when they need it most.
None of this growth would be possible without the commitment, empathy, and expertise of our colleagues. Every day, our people work incredibly hard to ensure we can support as many families as possible, combining legal excellence with genuine care. That dedication, to clients and to one another, remains at the heart of Stowe.
Looking ahead to 2026, we are entering an exciting new chapter.
This year, we will take another significant step forward in our journey to being the UK’s largest specialist family law firm and a leading technology-enabled firm. We will be rolling out new applications and tools designed to make day-to-day work easier, freeing up time so our teams can focus on what really matters: supporting our clients and each other.
Internally we are looking at career journeys, building on our biannual promotion windows, we will look holistically across job roles and skills to widen opportunities for growth and development into new roles, helping colleagues to plan and take ownership of their careers and development even clearer than before.
We will also continue to explore opportunities to grow and expand our expertise, ensuring we are well placed to meet the evolving needs of families now and in the future. This includes exploring opportunities to expand our presence internationally, building on the strong foundations already in place.
Above all, our focus for 2026 remains clear: thoughtful growth, investment in the future, and continued support for our people. It’s an exciting time to be part of Stowe, and I’m looking forward to what we will achieve together over the year ahead.
